OCSiAl Presents New Nano Option for Conductive Plastics at Polymer Conference in Lyon

The 32nd International Conference of the Polymer Processing Society (PPS-32) is held in Lyon, France between July 25-29. The goals of this event are to foster scientific understanding and technical innovation in polymer processing by providing a discussion forum for the worldwide community of engineers and scientists in the field. The themes of the PPS encompass all formulation, conversion and shaping operations applied to thermoplastic systems in their transformation from raw materials to commercial products.

More than 600 oral presentations, 200 poster presentations and plenary lectures given by speakers from academia and industry will provide attendees with guidance on topics from academic science to global challenges for industrial polymer engineering. On top of that the 2016 Awardees of two notable prices of the Polymer Processing Society will present their contributions.

The conference will be accompanied with a technical exhibition, where OCSiAl Development and Support Leader Dr. Christian Maus and EMEA Senior Sales Manager Will Riches will be showcasing the newest industry solutions for Polyolefins, PA and PVC based on OCSiAl’s universal conductive additive TUBALL™, which contains more than 75% of single wall carbon nanotubes. Doctor Christian Maus, well-known application specialist for thermoplastic processing, will provide attendees with more information on plastic applications of OCSiAl’s products and debate the supremacy of single wall carbon nanotubes above other traditionally used carbon additives, particularly such as multi wall carbon nanotubes and carbon black.

OCSiAl is delighted to participate in such a prominent event by providing society members with cutting edge research results and latest developments in the field of polymer engineering and science. Dr. Christian Maus and Mr. Will Riches express confidence in bright future of single wall carbon nanotubes in polymer processing and will be delighted to share their views with all polymer society by inviting you to their presentation stand.
