On 13–14 November 2017 in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, The Economist Group with support from OCSiAl will host The Future of Materials Summit: A New Age for Manufacturing. The Summit will address the major question for people living in the materials age: what “wonder materials” can reshape our future?

The Summit will bring together around 1000 leading hi-tech manufacturers, policymakers, scientists, analysts and designers to crystallise the multitude of recent advances in the materials industry and to illuminate the role of novel materials in developing the materials age. The list of speakers and attendees is expanding rapidly, and the key speakers already confirmed include Greg Conary (Schneider Electric Senior Vice-President), Christina Lomasney (Modumetal CEO), Neil Alford (Head of the Department of Materials at the London Centre for Nanotechnology), Yuri Koropachinskiy (OCSiAl CEO), Mikhail Predtechenskiy (OCSiAl Director of R&D) and Doron Aurbach (Director of the Nano-Cleantech Center at Bar-Ilan University’s Institute of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials).
