Job Title: Sales Assistant

The sales assistant is responsible to support the sales team in its administrative and operative tasks and is also involved in direct customer communications and execution of sales transactions. Maintenance of the Master Data in the CRM & ERP system are additional duties.

Reporting and key relations

This position will report to the Sales Director EMEIA.

The work involves constant communication with key persons of OCSiAl Group in technical support, R&D and product development divisions across the regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales team.
  • Manage inbound sales inquiries from company websites and coordinate their internal distribution.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for designated sales cases, ensuring timely and professional handling.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, product information, and commercial data within the CRM and ERP systems.

Candidate Profile

Success in this role depends greatly on the candidate’s experience, adaptability, and intellectual flexibility.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, International Business, Commerce, or Commercial Studies.

A background in Economics or Sciences is considered a plus.

Professional Experience

1–2 years of hands-on experience in sales support, back-office operations, customer service, or administrative support.

Previous experience in a multicultural or international environment is an advantage.

Key Skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders, including senior executives, R&D specialists, and small business representatives.

Customer-oriented mindset with a proactive, solution-focused approach and strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a multicultural, global team.

High degree of self-motivation and resilience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; experience with CRM and ERP systems is highly desirable.

Fluency in English at B2 level (minimum); knowledge of German and/or French is a strong asset.
