Key responsibilities

    Preparation of input data for the design organization.

    Development of process flow diagrams (PFD) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID).

    Technical support during the design of the production line: responding to technical queries from the design organization and providing the requested documentation.

    Technical support during procurement of key equipment: preparing technical specifications for equipment supply/design and obtaining the technical information needed from suppliers for production line design.

    Development of commissioning programs, monitoring their implementation, and conducting acceptance testing.

    Candidate Requirements

    Education:

    Master’s or bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Process Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

    Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical discipline.

    Advanced degrees (MSc/PhD) in relevant engineering fields will be considered an advantage.

    Professional Skills & Experience:

    Proven experience in performing or supporting design work in process or mechanical engineering for the chemical or metallurgical industry, either within a design organization or on the client’s side.

    Experience in developing PFDs and P&IDs.

    Proficiency in reading mechanical engineering drawings.

    Practical experience with high-temperature furnaces, heat exchangers, gas separation equipment, and pressure vessels.

    Experience working with suppliers of standard equipment as well as with manufacturers and engineering companies for custom-designed equipment.

    Fluent technical English (both written and spoken).

    Knowledge of additional languages such as French, German, or Russian is an advantage.

    Compensation and Location:

    A competitive market-based package will be offered, determined following the interview process.

    The workplace will be defined depending on the candidate’s current place of residence, in one of the company’s offices in Serbia or Luxembourg.
