About OCSiAl Group:

The OCSiAl group (“OCSiAl”) is the world’s largest producer of graphene nanotubes with the headquarters in Luxembourg. In addition to the synthesis of nanotubes themselves, OCSiAl is developing technologies for their use in industry to improve specific properties of various materials and to create new record-setting nano-augmented materials.

In 2022, OCSiAl established its presence in Serbia where it produces graphene nanotubes along with nanotube-based products.

Job Description:

The position is based in Belgrade, Serbia. Visits to OCSiAl’s plants in Stara Pazova and Kragujevac, as well as occasional travel to other members of the OCSiAl group are expected.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead project and process management activities for the product development lifecycle of new products based on Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs), such as industrial concentrates, masterbatches, suspensions from initial prototyping through to serial production, with a primary focus on new product initiatives at OCSiAl Balkan.
  • Participate in development, maintaining, and management of internal documentation for prototype and serial products, including but not limited to Production Master Manuals, Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, DFMEA, Certificates of Analysis, and other related documentation.
  • Lead and coordinate product and technology transfer projects across OCSiAl facilities and OEM/licence locations.
  • Lead and coordinate Change requests within the internal Quality Management System (QMS),(e.g. the introduction of new packaging types, implementation of quality control methods, evaluation and qualification of new raw materials, and optimization or modification of production processes).
  • Prepare and support external product documentation, including Technical Data Sheets (TDS), customer presentations, technical processing guides, website content (e.g., tuball.com), and product-related materials.
  • Support internal and external audit processes and respond to product-related information requests from cross-functional teams (including Production, Sales, Quality, EHS, and other departments)
  • Manage and execute additional projects and initiatives related to product development activities, including various cross-departmental internal initiatives.

Required education:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Composite Materials, or a related technical field.

Required professional experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in project or process management within the polymer, chemical, composites, coatings, or other advanced materials industries.
  • Demonstrated experience in application development, technology transfer, or commercialization of advanced materials is considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of and experience with material processing methods and characterization techniques, particularly in carbon nanomaterials, is considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Product Development Process (PDP), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) methodologies are considered an advantage.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., OpenProject) is considered an advantage.
