TUBALL Pushes the Boundaries at the European Coatings Show

OCSiAl has highlighted the bonding power of TUBALL nanotubes, which is of great importance for adhesion properties and corrosion resistance, at the major networking event for the paints and coatings industry – the European Coatings Show 2017, in Nuremberg, Germany. OCSiAl experts shared their knowledge with many industry players about the challenges that lie ahead for the coatings industry and about possible ways to solve them. In particular, conventional additives can now be replaced by off-the-shelf TUBALL technologies.

“All major initiatives to advance coatings are taking place here, at the European Coatings Show in Nuremberg, where you meet stakeholders who are eager to actively invest in product development in order to increase their market share. And we are stating here that the combination of yield, performance, conductivity and colour achieved by using TUBALL nanotubes can not be obtained by applying any other currently available additives,” said Christoph Siara, Sales and Marketing Director of OCSiAl Europe.

A number of end-use products that have benefited from TUBALL additives were showcased at the OCSiAl booth. These included flexo-printing sleeves from South Africa, PSA films from Korea and ESD flooring systems from Europe, which were all illustrative of the exceptional usability of the technologies developed by OCSiAl. The company’s advanced products, with their promise to accelerate the adoption of single wall carbon nanotubes in the paints and coatings industry, attracted more than 300 potential new customers during this year’s European Coatings Show.
