OCSiAl strengthens its position in Malaysia: Conductive flooring containing TUBALL nanotubes was on show at ARCHIDEX

Malaysia is one of the most important markets for OCSiAl. Last year, the company successfully introduced solutions for anti-static latex gloves to the Malaysian market, and now the OCSiAl team is displaying its unique products for conductive flooring, which is in high demand in the region because of the growing number of electronics manufacturing plants.

At the International Architecture, Interior Design and Building Exhibition (ARCHIDEX 2017), a leading industry trade event in South East Asia, OCSiAl demonstrated its industrial solutions for ESD flooring based on nanotubes. An extremely low dosage of TUBALL provides permanent and uniform conductivity, allows colouration, enhances mechanical properties, greatly simplifies ESD flooring production, and results in better yield and performance. ARCHIDEX visitors were impressed with the advantages of TUBALL and number of them are keen to start testing it in their own production processes.

OCSiAl is already well known in this highly competitive market and collaborates with leading manufacturers in South East Asia. For example, high-grade conductive flooring manufactured by Best Crete was demonstrated at ARCHIDEX. Best Crete uses TUBALL MATRIX 201, a super-concentrate based on single wall carbon nanotubes that was specially developed by OCSiAl for simplifying nanotube handling. A loading of 0.2% of this concentrate is sufficient to provide epoxy compounds with resistivity in the range 10^4–10^5 Ω·cm.

OCSiAl already has a company representative in Malaysia for developing collaborations with an ever-increasing number of industrial partners.
