OCSiAl to Present Advances in Nanotechnology to Young Professionals at IEEE Conference

OCSiAl will give a presentation to young professionals at the IEEE Nanotechnology Summer School, June 13 to 15, in Santa Clara, California. The presentation will focus on the latest advances in commercial applications of SWCNT in the fields of clean energy, composites, coatings and others areas. Attendees include academia and industry representatives from Stanford University, IBM, NASA and other leading research institutions and businesses.

OCSiAl was invited to participate due to its experience in large scale production and technology solutions for TUBALL™, OCSiAl’s high quality SWCNT product.  During the presentation, OCSiAl’s Product Developer for Energy Applications, Dr. Konstantin Tikhonov, will discuss the fundamental properties of SWCNT and share OCSiAl’s experiences in introducing SWCNT into a variety of products including plastics, resins, rubber, epoxies and battery electrodes as well as outlining future directions and industries that will benefit from widespread SWCNT availability.
